Recording your Declaration of Homestead

 

After you have completed the Declaration of Homestead form, and have had your signature notarized, you must file the document with the Registry of Deeds.  You may present the document in person at one of our three locations or you may mail the document along with a check made out to Plymouth County Registry of Deeds  for $35 plus $1 return mail fee to:

Your document will be recorded as received, and returned to you in a timely fashion.
